Would someone please explain to me what a born-again Christian means?
I have heard on the news a lot of prisoners say they have found God and are born-again Christians. If I’m not mistaken, even our president is a born-again Christian.
If you are a Christian or a born-again Christian, aren’t you supposed to heed the word of God and his Ten Commandments? The Fifth Commandment is “Thou shalt not kill.”
This senseless war has killed and tortured more men, women and children from the leaders of our country than the insurgents have.
So where does the born-again Christian come in, or could it be that the devil has taken over?
I still would like to know, if you were a Christian all your life, how can you be a born-again Christian when you get older? Do you lose God somewhere along the way in your life?
I would like to add a little humor to this letter: A young boy was at confession and the priest asked, “Do you know where God is?” (The priest meant to infer God is everywhere.) A frightened young boy ran out of church and said to his friend, “They think I stole God.”
