I am writing to express my support for the recent flurry of letters suggesting that voters take their disgust with the tax-and-spend Democrats in Augusta to the ballot box.

It appears the good “sheeple” of Maine are finally waking up to the fact that no society has ever taxed and borrowed itself into prosperity.

Maine has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.

Regarding property tax relief, I doubt that anyone has been fooled by the shell game that Augusta has paraded through the media.

Robbing Peter to pay Paul is not tax relief; it is a tax shift.
