I am voting for Rep. Elaine Makas for her consistent support of education and lifelong learning.

Elaine’s votes for increases in K-12 General Purpose Aid, the University of Maine System and technical colleges have been unwavering during her tenure as a legislator.

Elaine has been an educator for 24 years.

Elaine has taught traditional students at George Washington University, Bates College and is presently teaching non-traditional students at the University of Southern Maine at L/A College. Elaine also recognizes the need for early childhood education. She has been on the board of directors for Androscoggin Head Start and Child Care and was the chairperson of the board of directors.

Elaine is aware of the relationship between education and a strong economy and higher paying jobs in Lewiston.

As an educator for 25 years, I will support and vote for Rep. Elaine Makas on Election Day.
