I would like to express my support for Lois Snowe-Mello, a candidate for election to the Maine Senate. She is an individual of uncompromising integrity, has common sense and is deeply committed to the concerns of the people in District 15.

I feel health care and education are two of the most important issues in Maine. She will continue to work for affordable health insurance and lower costs for senior citizens prescription drugs. A good education is the foundation for opportunity and success for a lifetime. She believes our children deserve a strong educational system, as their entitlement as Maine citizens, whether they have special needs or are part of their mainstream classroom.

She is also a strong advocate to moderate government spending, wishes to help the individual citizen by reducing Maine’s income tax burden and provide property tax relief.
