The only welcome to Lewiston I see is the dilapidated and broken dirty windows of the Bates Mill. The buildings are so bad that that is all you see when going across the bridge from Auburn to Lewiston.

The city should have spent all that money it put into new fountains on fixing the building and sidewalks first. Plus, the park isn’t for people to congregate, only for a few people to stop by. Stop by and do what? There is nothing there that would encourage me to stop.

Lewiston should have used that whole corner and done something like Auburn did with their Festival Plaza, along with fixing the buildings.
