I can’t believe the Bush administration thinks the American people are stupid.

The administration keeps telling us that Saddam Hussein and Al-Qaida are one and the same. The experts tell us that Hussein had nothing to do with what happened on Sept. 11.

Ambassador Bremer said on “Meet the Press” that 19 countries have sent a total of 13,000 troops to Iraq. There are 147,000 American troops in Iraq. This adds up to less than 10 percent of non-American troops.

There has been almost one soldier a day killed since Bush declared that the war was over. And they want to discipline the troops who are speaking out against the Republican hawks who put us there in the first place, just because they want to come home.

Our troops are dying while Bush travels all over the country raising money to the tune of over $70 million for the next election. Shame on him. Did he ever stop to think that that money could be put to better use to feed our 14 million children who go to bed hungry every night?

Our deficit is the worst it’s been in this country’s history. The economy is not getting better. Almost daily the newspapers report that hundreds and thousands are losing their jobs.

It’s time for a regime change. If the Republicans get in in 2004, we will be in such a deep hole we won’t be able to get out.
