I am absolutely taken aback and shocked that Beverly Tilley believes the movie “A League of Their Own” was raunchy and obscene (Aug. 30). That movie was about history – history of some American women not recognized or realized by so many Americans.
It was about a time when those wonderful and courageous women left their homes to bring hope and enjoyment to a nation at war.
There was nothing raunchy or obscene in that wonderful and great movie.
