I am concerned about the content of a new television series to be aired this fall on a major network. The name of the show says it all: “Ugly Betty.”

It bothers me that a show would portray children who wear glasses and braces in a negative way. Our children do not need that kind of example.

I have spoken to several other people who feel the same way.
