This is in reference to the July 23 brief editorial taken from the Orlando Sentinal and published in the Sun Journal. It was the straw that almost broke the camel’s back as far as canceling my subscription.

The commentary referred to remarks President Bush made in an open microphone at the Group of Eight summit. The editorial stated, “Sometimes the truth is better left unpolished.”

I have never heard anything from the president’s mouth, lies or truth, that was polished.

The idea of him using gutter talk was very embarrrasing, especially hearing it instead of a bleep, as I did on public radio.

I love my country and always will, but I am so ashamed of the current administration, and the lack of respect this country has from other nations.

I hope the last statement of that article is not a reflection of the majority of the people in Florida: “Bush’s rough remarks were a refreshing candor.” To me, it shows ignorance and poor judgment.
