AUBURN – Dean Daigle and Dustin Longchamps charged up the Interstate Batteries offense in a 21-4 Auburn Players League softball victory over Kung Pao. Dan Smith and Rob Farrington combined for the win on the mound.
S & D Sharks broke open a close game against Meineke Muffler with a nine-run sixth inning to gain a 16-7 victory. Nic Marr and Dave Veinote Jr. both went 4-for-4 for the Sharks.
Gregg Rose whacked two home runs for the Mufflermen.
Assassins rolled to a 13-2 triumph over Main-Land Development. James Small Sr. went 5-for-5 to lead the hit parade and was the winning pitcher. Joey Scammon, Rafial Llamos and Justin Juray had four hits each. Chuck Buker, Jake Nason and Dana Staples were repeat hitters for Main-Land.
Marauders took a wild 15-14 verdict over Team Argo.
Jody Bolduc had three hits. Barry Bangs scored the winning run in the seventh inning. Dale Andrews picked up his first pitching victory of the season.
