LEWISTON – The Bates College men’s hockey team is hosting a public skate at the Underhill Arena (145 Russell St.) on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m.-noon. The cost is $3 adult, $2 kids, and free for children under 5.

GORHAM – The University of Southern Maine baseball staff will holds its 18th annual Pitching, Hitting & Defense Clinics on Sunday, March 2 and March 9, in the Costello Fieldhouse on the USM Gorham campus. The pitching and defense clinic will run from 9 a.m.-noon, and the hitting clinic will be from 1-4 p.m. The coast of each session is $30, or $50 for the entire day.
