LEWISTON – United Valley Red Cross in Lewiston, is sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk, Saturday, May 12. It’s called “Run For Life”.
All proceeds from the event will benefit local disaster relief by the United Valley American Red Cross.
The race route will begin and end at the new home of the United Valley Red Cross at 1180 Lisbon St., Lewiston. Parking is available at that address, and at the old Aubuchon’s at 1190 Lisbon St.
The first 100 registrants will receive a free T-shirt to honor the first annual “Run For Relief”. This is a sanctioned race, official times to be recorded
Registration will begin at 8:30, the race to start at 9:00. Pre-registration is $15, and $18 on the day of the race.
Walkers are encouraged to participate in addition to the dedicated 5K runners.
