LEWISTON – Cheerleaders from Maine Event Cheer and Dance Training Center took six first place awards at the Rhody All-Stars Competition held recently in Providence, R.I.
The All-Star Youth, Junior Prep, Junior, Senior Prep and Senior teams each took a top award for their division. In addition, Maine Event’s Senior Stunt Group also took a first in its competition.
The All-Star Youth, Junior Prep and Junior teams have qualified for the World’s Final Destination Competition in May in Baltimore. The event will be televised nationally by ESPN.
The Senior and Senior Prep teams will compete in qualifying events for the World’s Final Destination at a national competition in Williamsburg, Va., on March 18-19.
