PORTLAND – Coach Mike D’Andrea and the varsity players of the defending state champion Deering Rams and National American Legion champion Nova Seafood will host the annual School Vacation Youth Baseball Clinic, April 18-20, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Deering High School on Stevens Avenue.

The clinic is open to boys and girls ages 6-13 and features instruction on fielding, hitting, pitching, catching, base-running and baseball fundamentals. Cost is $75.

Auburn plans T-Ball

AUBURN – The Auburn Recreation Youth T-Ball League is being planned for the 2005 season. Eligible are youngsters ages 5-7 as of August 1, 2005. Practices will be held twice a week during the 10-week season that will begin April 25. Registrations are now being accepted at the Auburn Recreation Department at Hasty Community Center. Fee is $25 for residents and $35 for non residents. More information is available by contacting the ARD at 784-0191.
