TURNER – Ben Alpren Machine suffered its first loss recently in the Leavitt Area Men’s Basketball League. Ruff Riders knocked off the Machinists 84-83 in a thriller. James Whirley led with 31 points. Fred Dilligent added 22. Dan Coleman and Nate Pelletier (18) led Alpren.

Justin Perron scored 21 and Al Smith 17 as Fitness World beat Lake City Exports. Matt Winslow (33) and Sam Smith (18) sparked Exports.

Dubord Realty/Ranor outlasted Lisbon Road Animal Hospital 96-82 as Aaron St. Pierre tossed in 26 and Scott Bessey 25. Tom Labree led Lisbon Road with 29. Keith Danner added 20.

Sturtevant & Ham Insurance trimmed Shooters 104-87 as Chris Williamson torched the twines for 40 points. Chris Randall (27) and Chip Webster (20) led Shooters.
