DIXFIELD – Tyler Gates’ diving header broke a second-half deadlock and sparked Dirigo to a 5-2 victory over Hall-Dale.
The Cougars built a 2-0 lead, but goals by James McCullum and Ethan Solloway tied the game before Eric Bolduc set up Gates for the game winner. Gates and Radalfo Moroles scored two goals apiece for Dirigo (4-8), while Bolduc finished with a goal and three assists.
Caleb Turner made two saves for Dirigo, while Taylor Mannix made seven stops for Hall-Dale.
Livermore Falls 5, Carrabec 0
LIVERMORE FALLS – Caleb Baron scored twice and assisted on another goal to lead Livermore Falls to a 5-0 triumph over Carrabec.
Jake Ouellette, Tom Ventrella and Khyle Whittemore also scored for the Andies (9-3-1). Willie Brown made five saves in goal for the win, while Charles Landry had seven stops for Carrabec.
Hebron 6, Gould 2
BETHEL – Six different players scored, and Eric Rodriguez notched the eventual game-winner, as Hebron shut down Gould with a 6-2 victory in boys’ soccer action Saturday.
The Lumberjacks (3-0-2) jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first 25 minutes of play, before giving up a penalty kick goal to the Huskies (1-7-1).
Goalie Kyle Cordaro made three saves for Hebron in the winning effort.
Monmouth 1, Mountain Valley 1
MONMOUTH – Monmouth and Mountain Valley played to a 1-1 tie in MVC boys’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.
The Mustangs (4-7-1) scored first when junior forward Morgan Bergeron found the back of the net at the 34:05 mark of the first half.
Midfielder Rafeal Andmini scored the equalizer with 19:45 left in regulation for the Falcons.
Goalie Kyle Gauving recorded 10 saves for Mountain Valley, while Seth Musich made 24 stops for Monmouth.
Lisbon 10, Jay 0
JAY – Brothers Cam and Marcus Bubar scored two goals each, and George Clement had two of his own as Lisbon overwhelmed Jay (2-9) with a 10-0 victory in boys’ soccer Saturday.
The Greyhounds (11-1) jumped out to 6-0 lead and added another four goals in the second half. Phil Carville, Mike Beaulieu, Jeff Wiersbiski and Dan Conlon each scored a goal for Lisbon.
Lisbon goalie Derrick Lycette had a light day in net, making zero saves on Jay’s zero shots on net.
