HEBRON – Cory Cormier scored three goals, and Kolby Arnold, Zach Arnold, Nate Becker and Sam Mason all had two goals apiece to lead Poland/Gray-New Gloucester to an easy 15-2 hockey victory over Sanford on Saturday.
The Patriotic Knights (14-4) opened up a seven-goal lead in the first period and coasted the rest of the way. Also scoring were Gardner Lajoie, Jake Trickey, Chris Lessard and Eric Stewart. Ben Gagnon scored both goals for Sanford.
Sean Bilodeau and Matt Ouellette shared goalie duties for Poland.Gray-NG.
Brunswick 3, Hebron 1
HEBRON – Drew Tunney fired off a pair of goals to lift Brunswick to a 3-1 victory over Hebron in ice hockey action Saturday.
Bo Stafford nailed down the first Dragon goal for the Dragons (12-9-1) four minutes into the contest.
Nate Duperre scored the only Lumberjack (12-11-5) goal of the game, sandwiched by Tunney’s pair for the victors.
St. Dom’s 8, Edw. Little 0
AUBURN – The Parker brothers combined for four goals as St. Dom’s floated to an 8-0 victory over Edward Little in ice hockey action Saturday.
Junior forward Casey Parker notched a hat trick and an assist for the Saints (11-8), while freshman forward Alex Parker contributed a goal and an assist. Junior forward Richard Paradis, who worked well in tandom with Casey Parker, provided a pair of goals and assists for the Saints.
Goalie Alex Loudermilk settled down after giving up five goals in the first period to make 28 saves for the Red Eddies (5-14) in the rough outing.
Greely 5, Leavitt 2
FALMOUTH – Senior forward Brian Allyn notched a pair of goals to lead Greely to a 5-2 victory over Leavitt in ice hockey action Saturday.
The game remained tight until the third period when the Rangers (11-7-1) broke things open with a pair of unanswered goals. Senior forward Leland Copenhagen contributed three assists in the winning effort.
Junior forward Steven Rouillard and senior defenseman Zack Chouinard provided a single goal each for the Hornets (10-9-1).
