1. Nick Reny, Biddeford

He doesn;t have the most goals this year, but his have come against much better goaltending in much tighter games. His hands are solid and he has a knack for finding the net.

2. Casey Poussard, Lewiston

Leads the league in goals (15 through Friday’s games) and can shoot (and score) from just about anywhere on the ice. Goalies always have to be aware. His hands are the best in the East.

3. Dylan Fitzpatrick, Brewer

Right behind Poussard, and also a product of a successful team. The Eastern A scoring race will be fun to watch.

4. Jon Roy, Lewiston

He used to be a marked man. Playing on a line with Poussard, though, he gets a little bit more room, and that’s helping to create some space.

5. Cam Hart, Falmouth

The Yachtsmen are where they projected to be at this point, and the goal-scoring is a bit spread out. Still, Hart, with eight goals, is one of the best in the West.

6. Travis Dunn, Bonny Eagle

Tier II and Tier III schools in Western A often get overlooked, but someone still has to put the pucks in the net. With 14 already, Dunn is proving to be a force on a depth-starved team.

7. Jordan Bourgoin, Lewiston

Bourgoin is a better passer, but he’s proven he can score when needed, especially alongside Poussard and Roy.

8. Matt DelGiudice, Mess.

He gets lost in the shuffle a bit on a team that is close to contending, but isn’t quite there yet.

9. Jack Hersom, Lawrence

Great set of hands and is a good leader on the ice, as well as on the gridiron.

10. C.J. Bergeron, St. Dom’s

The Saints are more od a score-by-committee team, but Bergeron has the best nose for the net.
