BETHEL – Candace Hall hurled her third no-hitter of the season as Telstar rolled to a 13-0 shutout over Winthrop.
Hall’s performance gave coach Jim Lunnie his 30th straight victory.
Sarah Field smacked a bases-loaded triple for the Rebels (11-0) and had two hits, while Josie Reiss and Megan Smith also contributed with two hits on the day.
Dirigo 10, Carrabec 1
DIXFIELD – Lanette Bryant hurled six innings of one-hit ball and got plenty of run support as Dirigo rolled over Carrabec 10-1.
The Cougars (4-7) erupted for a five-run fourth inning, ignited by a two-run double from Shannon Daley. Brittany Palmer, Dani Tompkins, Bryant and Daley had two hits each for Dirigo.
The Cobras (1-8) scored their lone run in the seventh to prevent the shutout.
Cony 14, Lewiston 2
LEWISTON – Taking advantage of an error plagued first inning, Amy Jones belted a three-run single allowing Cony to jump out and take a 14-2 win over Lewiston.
Three walks, surrounded by two hits led to a four-run third inning for the Rams (9-3). Chelsea Soule and Holly Rines each had two singles.
For the Devils (4-7), Danielle Willey had an RBI single in the first, while Maria Labbe smacked a solo homer in the sixth inning.
Madison 2, Lisbon 1
MADISON – Madison scored both their runs in the first inning and held on through the rest of the contest to post a 2-1 win over Lisbon.
Jess Hayden smacked an RBI double, while Amanada Poissionner had an RBI single for the Bulldogs (9-2). Ashley Marandola was solid on the mound, striking out four batters en route to recording the win.
Kristen Kinney smacked two singles for the Greyhounds (8-3).
Oxford Hills 3, Mt. Ararat 0
PARIS – Jen Jurczak fired a one-hitter and struck out 14 to lead Oxford Hills to a 3-0 victory over Mt. Ararat.
Megan Gauger singled and alertly scored in the fourth inning when Mindy Rugg singled and was thrown out trying to get to second. The Vikings (10-1) added two insurance runs in the fifth on singles by Tia Pratt, Pamela Eells and Diane Ramsey and a fielder’s choice by Deanna Emery.
The Eagles (0-11) had their only hit in the fourth inning, when they loaded the bases before Jurczak escaped the jam.
Mt. Abram 10, Georges Valley 4
THOMASTON – Loghan Walker had a solid performance, recording the win on the mound with four strike outs, and getting two hits and two RBIs at the plate, to lead Mt. Abram to a 10-4 win over Georges Valley.
Rachel Fullerton had three hits, including two RBIs, while Sarah Dyar had two hits and two RBIs for the Roadrunners (5-4).
Jess Keating had two hits and two RBIs, while Danielle Leavitt also had a pair of hits and one RBI for the Buccaneers (8-2).
Livermore Falls 12, Wiscasset 10
WISCASSET – Freshman Kathrynn Lake notched her first career save, coming in with two outs in the seventh to cement a 12-10 Livermore Falls win over Wiscasset.
Meg Smith made the game ending catch for the Andies (2-8), preventing Wiscasset players on second and third from being able to tie the contest. Jenny Freeman and Michelle Belanger had solid offensive performances, with Freeman hitting a bases-loaded triple in the fourth, and Belanger smacking a two-run double.
Gray-New Gloucester 11, Poland 4
GRAY – Laura Getchell struck out 12 and helped her own cause at the plate with three hits and two RBIs to lead Gray-New Gloucester to a 11-4 victory over Poland.
Olivia Ryan chipped in for the Patriots (8-5) with three hits and three RBIs, while Gianna Oddi and Brittany Humphrey added two hits each.
After scoring just one run in the first six innings, the Knights (5-7) posted three in the seventh to close the gap slightly.
Maranacook 5, Oak Hill 4
READFIELD – Katie Norwood had three doubles and had one RBI as Maranacook slipped past Oak Hill to post a 5-4 win.
Chelsay Freeman hit a double in the eighth for the Black Bears (7-3).
For the Raiders (5-7), Cortney Seguin had a two-run double in the seventh inning to help tie the game and push it into extra innings. Cadie Rodrigue went 2-4 with an RBI.
St. Dom’s 6, Sacopee Valley 3
SOUTH HIRAM – Kelsey Murphy belted a pair of hits and had two RBIs to pace St. Dom’s to a 6-3 win over Sacopee Valley. Heidi Neadeau, Micaela Kelly and Erynne Landry all belted doubles for the Saints (5-3).
Jenn Cullen went the distance and recorded her fourth win. Pitcher Whitney Stacey led the Hawks (5-6) with three hits, while Autumn Jones smashed a home run.
Morse 2, Edward Little 1
BATH – Morse tallied unearned runs in the second and third innings to post a 2-1 victory over Edward Little.
Kayla Cummings brought home Megan Hussar on a single in the seventh inning for the lone Eddies (1-10) run.
