PORTLAND – The Boston Red Sox announced that Fenway Park will be the site of a regular-season minor league doubleheader for the second straight year with the return of “Futures at Fenway” on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007.

The Lowell Spinners, the Red Sox’ short-season Single-A affiliate, will play the Hudson Valley Renegades (Devil Rays). That game will be followed by the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs and Harrisburg Senators (Nationals).

Game times and ticket information for the 2007 “Futures at Fenway” will be announced in early spring.

The Sea Dogs open the 2007 season on April 5 at 6 p.m. at Hadlock Field against the Connecticut Defenders (Giants). Tickets for the 2007 season are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Sea Dogs ticket office at 207-879-9500 or on line at www.seadogs.com.
