HOLDERNESS, N.H. – Joe King notched a short-handed goal to lift Hebron to a 2-1 overtime victory over Holderness in hockey action Wednesday.
Matt Pedemonti and Josh Taylor were credited with assists on the game-winning goal.
King put Hebron (1-0) on the board first when he tallied just five minutes into the second period. Holderness evened the score late in the period when Tim Klotz found the net with 3:30 left on the clock.
Jon Glant made 28 saves in net for Hebron to notch the win, while Josh Sayba turned aside 17 shots for Holderness.
