FARMINGTON – Joe Beaudoin sank 19 points to give Messalonskee the edge it needed for a 65-64 KVAC triumph over Mt. Blue on Tuesday.

Bob Kendrick and Isaac Hutchinson each chipped in 11 points apiece for the Eagles (6-1).

Senior captain Brian Wells led the Cougars (7-2) with a game-high 28 points and 18 rebounds.

Gould 73, Eastgate 60

NEW GLOUCESTER – Whitney Stowell drained 25 points as Gould defeated Eastgate Christian 73-60 in boys’ basketball action.

T.J. Savage added 19 points, while Karl Olsen chipped in 12 for the Huskies (4-3).

Nate Damm notched 25 points and recorded seven steals, while Aaron Anderson added 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Eagles (2-8).

Jay 84, Monmouth 41

JAY – Sean Fry and Marc Kelvey scored 13 points apiece to push Jay to a 84-41 MVC victory over Monmouth.

Justin Wells and Shane Bourgault each added 11 points for the Tigers (8-2). Mark Wade led the Mustangs (2-8) with 11.

Lewiston 50, Waterville 40

LEWISTON – Joe Lee drained 12 points as Lewiston snuck past Waterville 50-40 in KVAC play.

David Labonte chipped in 11 points, while Matt Dumais added eight points, 12 rebounds, and seven steals for the Blue Devils (4-3).

Andy Veilleux and Brian Tormollan combined for 25 points for the Panthers (2-6).

Lisbon 65, Winthrop 58

WINTHROP – Mike Wilkins downed a game-high 19 points to pace Lisbon to a come-from-behind MVC victory over Winthrop, 65-58.

Chris Kates added 15 points for the Greyhounds (6-5). Lisbon came back from a 38-19 deficit at the half to clinch the win.

Matt McCarthy led the Ramblers (4-6) with 18 points, while Mike Gingras added 11.

Oxford Hills 66, Gardiner 37

SOUTH PARIS – Corey Tielinen scored 13 points to lead unbeaten Oxford Hills to a 66-37 KVAC romp over Gardiner.

Leif and Thomas Kothe added 12 points apiece for the Vikings (8-0). Sean McNally led the Tigers (0-8) with a game-high 18 points, while Seth Antognoni chipped in eight.

Gray-NG 48, Yarmouth 43

YARMOUTH – Louie Bernardini poured 18 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to pace Gray-New Gloucester to a 48-43 victory over Yarmouth in WMC action.

Seth Farrington propelled the Patriots (3-8) with nine points and five steals.

Justin Morrill led the Clippers (4-7) with 15 points, while Hans Tobiason tallied 14.

Telstar 62, Dirigo 52

BETHEL – Casey Fleet and Terry Collins each drained 12 points to pace Telstar to a 62-52 MVC win over Dirigo.

Fleet also recorded five assists, while Collins pulled down nine rebounds for the Rebels (8-3).

Craig Langervin led the Cougars (2-9) with a 16-point performance, while Brandon and Spencer Berry each amassed 11.

St. Dom’s 53, Freeport 48

AUBURN – Nate Hamlyn netted 19 points to propel undefeated St. Dom’s to a 53-48 WMC victory over Freeport.

Jeremy Richardson dropped in a dozen for the Saints (8-0).

Tom Rolfson led the Falcons (4-8) with eight points. Kyle Goodrich tallied seven.

Skowhegan 70, Leavitt 62

TURNER – Eric James scored a game-high 21 points to lead Skowhegan to a 70-62 KVAC win over Leavitt.

Zach Davis delivered 16 points for the Indians (2-6), while Chris Gregor added 12.

Brandon Powell led the Hornets (0-9) with 14 points, while Nate Cousineau chalked up 13 and John Pirruccello added 12.

Valley 74, Buckfield 58

BUCKFIELD – Mark Gaudet poured in 26 points to lead seven-time reigning Class D champion Valley to a 74-58 EWC win over Buckfield.

Mark Hyland added 13 points and Lucas Melcher 11 for the Cavaliers (7-0). Freshman Jamie Henderson paced the Bucks (5-4) with 18 points. Tristan Brackett chalked up 11 and Scott Wetherell chipped in 10.

Livermore Falls 76, Carrabec 46

CARRABEC – Garrett Young poured in a game-high 20 points as Livermore Falls dominated Carrabec 76-46 in the MVC.

Mike Chamard added 16 points for the Andies (2-8). Livermore Falls blew open the contest open in the second quarter, making it 52-20 at the half.

Brandon Coutts led the Cobras (0-11) with 15 points.
