Joe Dumais, a former St. Dom’s high school hockey standout, will be in the lineup and playing for Quinnipiac as the Bobcats visit Yost Arena to take on the No. 6-ranked Michigan Wolverines Friday at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NESN.
Quinnipiac is coming off of two wins in its own Quinnipiac Cup and received a handful of votes in the most recent U.S. College Hockey Online coaches’ poll.
The Bobcats will also appear on television on Jan. 2, 2004 when they travel to Providence College. That game, which will take place at 7 p.m., will also appear on NESN.
Leavitt to host KVAC Championships
TURNER – Leavitt Area High School will host the annual KVAC Field Hockey Championships Saturday.
The Class A game between Skowhegan and Gardiner will begin at 11 a.m., while the Class B game between Winslow and Waterville is set for 1 p.m. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students.
