HALLOWELL — The Gaslight Theater will present “Rabbit Hole,” which won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for drama, as the last full production of its 2009 season.

The play is about Becca and Howie Corbet, a couple who have everything they could want. A tragic accident makes that irrelevant and sends Becca and Howie drifting in different directions. Becca’s well-meaning mom and off-kilter sister attempt to lift their spirits, each in her own inimitable way. The play follows the couple on their separate journeys, seeking comfort with family and each other and finding closure in this tense time in their lives.

“Rabbit Hole” made its debut on Broadway in January 2006, with stars Tyne Dailey and Cynthia Nixon.

The show will be presented Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 5, 6, 7 and 12, 13, 14, at Hallowell City Hall. Curtain is 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. A reception will follow the opening performance.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors. Call 626-2698. For more information, visit www.gaslighttheater.org.
