LEWISTON — Healthy Androscoggin, Your Partner in Health, recently moved to their new location on 130 East Ave.

“We’re very excited about this new location. We hope people will feel free to come visit.” said Tin (Justin) Barton-Caplin, executive director.

The move occurred in early October. “Though we miss the proximity to the health care providers that we work with regularly, we really see this as a key opportunity to better connect with the community at large. It’s very accessible to the community. We hope this move will open up Healthy Androscoggin’s office to be a convenient and welcoming place to convene community meetings and maybe even expand our services to include on site learning opportunities.” said Barton-Caplin.

There will be an open house announced soon.

Visitors to Healthy Androscoggin can pick up several health resource guides, including the Androscoggin County Farm Guide, the Recreation Guide and many materials concerning tobacco cessation and substance abuse prevention. To reach the Healthy Androscoggin office on East Avenue, use the lower entrance to the YWCA.
