WASHINGTON – Gilbert Arenas matched his career high with 43 points to help the Washington Wizards beat the Indiana Pacers 108-104 on Monday night.
Antawn Jamison added 20 points for the Wizards, combining with Arenas for 19 of Washington’s final 21 points in the final 8 minutes.

MIAMI – Shaquille O’Neal scored 27 points and the Miami Heat overcame a rare ragged performance by Dwyane Wade to beat Golden State 105-96 on Monday night.
Wade failed to score in the first 18 minutes. He missed several layups and one dunk, committed eight turnovers, drew a technical foul, shot 5-for-18 and finished with 18 points, 5.6 below his average.
Nets 107, 76ers 97, OT
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J, – Vince Carter scored a season-high 43 points to become the 41st NBA player to reach 10,000 points, and Jason Kidd had his 62nd triple-double in the New Jersey Nets’ 107-97 overtime victory over Philadelphia on Monday night.
Knicks 102, Jazz 99, OT
SALT LAKE CITY – Stephon Marbury scored 30 points, including New York’s last six in overtime, to help the Knicks snap a nine-game road losing streak with a 102-99 victory over the Utah Jazz.
After the Jazz took a 99-98 lead in overtime, Marbury made two jumpers to give the Knicks the victory in the final game of a six-game trip.
Hawks 114, Lakers 108
ATLANTA – Antoine Walker made two baskets in the last 2 minutes, and Tony Delk hit eight free throws in the final minute to help the Atlanta Hawks hold off the Los Angeles Lakers 114-108 on Monday night.
The Lakers, down by 29 points in the second quarter, cut the Hawks’ lead to a point before Walker and Delk took control in the final minutes.
