LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) – The Chicago Bears signed second-round draft pick Tank Johnson to a five-year contract Monday.

The defensive end from Washington was the 47th overall selection in the NFL draft.

The 6-3, 300-pounder, a second-team All-Pac 10 player as a senior, began his career with the Huskies as a tight end. He switched to defense in his sophomore year.
