MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) – Dominic Rich singled home Maikel Jova with the deciding run in the fourth inning to give the New Hampshire Fisher Cats a 4-3 win and a sweep of their three-game series against the Portland Sea Dogs on Sunday.
New Hampshire (41-33) also got a 2-run home run from Victor Valencia and a sacrifice fly from Aaron Hill. Gustavo Chacin (7-2) went six innings and allowed two runs on five hits to earn his third straight win, and John Ogiltree notched his first save. Josh Stevens (3-6) was the loser.
Portland (35-41) got home runs from Mike O’Keefe and Sean McGowan.
