BOSTON (AP) – Jerramie Domish had a goal and an assist as UMass-Lowell beat Maine 3-2 on Friday night.

Domish’s game-winning goal at 9:09 of the second period came just 54 seconds after Maine’s Todd Jackson tied the game at 2-2 with a power-play goal.

The Black Bears (23-7-3, 14-5-2 Hockey East) outshot the River Hawks 39-23, but UMass-Lowell goalie John Yaros made 37 saves, including 10 in the third period, to preserve the victory.

UMass-Lowell (9-20-6, 6-11-4) also got goals from Andrew Martin and Brian Bova.

St. Dom’s product Derek Damon also scored for Maine.

Prestin Ryan had two assists.
