TRENTON, N.J. (AP) – A home run and four RBIs off the bat of Dustin Brisson led the Portland Sea Dogs to a 13-3 win over Trenton on Sunday.

Brisson entered the game in the first inning after Portland DH Andy Dominique was hit on the left hand by pitch.

Brisson picked up an RBI on a ground out in the third, blasted a two-run homer in the fifth and added a sacrifice fly in the sixth.

Three errors by Trenton in the first gave Portland (2-2) a 2-0 lead. Trenton (2-2) answered in the second inning with Aaron Rifkin’s game-tying two-run homer off Portland starter Greg Montalbano (1-0).

Portland exploded in the fifth with three runs off Thunder starter Javier Ortiz (0-1), including Brisson’s two-run shot.

The Sea Dogs piled on three more runs each in the sixth and ninth innings.

Montalbano allowed two runs over five innings to collect the win.
