School drama team offers O’Henry stories
PARIS – Short stories of O. Henry were presented by five high school students from Oxford Hills Christian Academy recently.
The performance, which ran for about two and a half hours, featured the acting talent of Lyz Donovan, Rachel Marston, Steve Corning, Lindsay Ellingwood and Tony Stevens.
Stories included “One Thousand Dollars,” “While Auto Waits,” “Springtime A la Carte” and “The Last Leaf.”
The OHCA Drama Team will host its first comedy night at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at Hosanna Church, 109 Schoolhouse Road., Oxford.
The evening will feature original sketches by the cast members, improv, standup by Tony Stevens and some classic Monty Python sketches. Admission is free, and donations will be accepted at the door.
