AUBURN – The Central Maine Community College Corporate and Community Services Department will offer Current Procedural Terminology Medical Coding from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 1, through Wednesday, July 1. The cost of the course is $425 and includes the textbook.

The CPT coding system is used to code billing procedures and services provided by acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, outpatient clinic facilities, physicians and other health care professionals. The course will provide an overview of clinical vocabularies and classifications and detailed instruction on CPT coding principles. Students should have experience in medical terminology for this class.
