FRYEBURG – The Harlem Superstars will invade Fryeburg Academy to take on the Fryeburg Raiders Dream Team at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, in the academy’s Ada Cram Wadsworth Arena.

The Superstars are a group of basketball comedians, featuring seven-foot Ricky Lopes, Kevin “Showboat” Jackson and Chris “Super Chicken” Turnquist.

The Fryeburg Raiders Dream Team is made up of teachers from SAD 72 and Fryeburg Academy Lake Region Ice Cats Hockey Coach David Lepage of Bridgton.

The night of family fun will include show-time dunks, the Chicken Dance, razzmatazz passing, tricks and fan interaction.

The Harlem Superstars’ main mission is to inform and entertain children and families through a combination of basketball skills, comedy and audience participation.

Advanced sale tickets are $7. At the door, tickets will be $8. They can be purchased now at SAD 72 schools in Fryeburg, Denmark and Lovell, and at Bridgton Books and Hayes True Value Hardware.

Proceeds will benefit the Ice Cats hockey team and the Fryeburg Academy soccer team. Refreshments will be available.
