Sunday brunch

PARIS – The Brunch Sunday service at the First Universalist Church on Pine Street on March 1 will be led by Marilyn Hammond. The 10 a.m. worship service will be followed by brunch, coffee and fellowship.

Music is under the direction of Forest Perkins, with Linda Stowell as guest pianist. All are welcome; child care is available.

BETHEL – The Harlem Rockets will take on the SAD 44 Dream Team at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, in the Telstar High School gym.

Advance tickets are on sale. They are $8 for students/seniors and $10 for adults. Call 824-2136, ext. 107, or e-mail [email protected]. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 and $12.

All proceeds will go to the Class of 2010 in their efforts to raise money for the prom.

Band to play

PARIS – The Jones Dance Band will play old-fashioned dance music from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at the Legion Hall, Church Street. Cost is $5 for adults.

A Spring Fling will take place on Saturday, March 28. A chicken pie supper will be from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by dance until 10. Cost is $7 for supper and $5 for the dance.
