LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Feb. 2 with 27 members present.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for deceased members and for the men and women in the armed forces.

Joyce Richards was reported on the sick list and Lorette Chabot is in Sandy River Nursing Home.

Lucile Frechette, Jean Oakes, Fern Doiron and Irene Hebert were welcomed back.

A Valentine party, including a “finger food” lunch, will be held on Monday, Feb. 9. All members are asked to bring something to share. Lunch will be served at noon, followed by entertainment provided by Silver and Gold.

The 50-50 was won by Lucile Frechette and the door prize, donated by Ellie Mitchell, was won by Fern Doiron.

Refreshments for the meeting were donated by Carmen Moreau and Alice DeMoras. The meeting was adjourned, and beano and cards were played.
