AUGUSTA — Albert LeBaron Card, 88, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 6.
Albert, a native of South Paris, was an outstanding athlete who enjoyed a career as a teacher and coach, and as a baseball umpire and basketball referee. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene Ross Card, and a brother, Dr. C. Seymour Card. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Card of Cape Elizabeth, son Ryan and his wife Leigh Ann, of Woolwich; and beloved grandchildren William and Albert “Ross” LeBlond, and Hannah, Kathleen and Andrew Card. In addition to extended family, he is survived by his loving companion, Cindy Rodrigue.
Arrangements are in the care of Knowlton & Hewins Funeral Home and Cremation Service, One Church Street, Augusta.
