Penny sale auction
PHILLIPS – The 11th annual Penny Sale Auction to benefit the Phillips Public Library is under way at the library on Main Street.
Donations are being accepted. Items may be left at the library during open hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Arrangements can be made to have items picked up by calling Winona at 639-4296 or Nancy at 639-3717.
Tickets are also on sale for the 125-plus items already marked. The drawing will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 15.
Pot roast dinner
RANGELEY – A Yankee pot roast dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Main Street.
The $8 menu includes mashed potato and gravy, peas and carrots, homemade bread pudding with whipped cream and a beverage.

Report cards out
SALEM – Report cards for the second quarter/first semester at Mt. Abram High School were distributed to students on Jan. 30.
