LEWISTON – Douglas and Sonia Taylor, founders of the Jesus Party, are offering the Happy Hour, a series of special adult/family oriented services open to the community as part of their celebration of 14 years of inner-city ministry.
The events will be held at 9 p.m. Fridays, Jan. 30 through April 17, at the Jesus Party headquarters, 291 Bates St. The series will begin with a viewing of the “Azusa Street Project,” filmed by Clay Banks.
The programs are based on author Roberts Liardom’s compilation of biographies exploring the legacies of 12 Christian revivalists. Liardom’s research consists of three Christian movements: Pentecostalism, diving healing and the charismatic movement.
