Extension meeting

PERU – The Peru Extension Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Peru Baptist Church.

Supper, dance

RUMFORD – The snowshoe club will have a supper and dance to raise funds for the runners on Friday, Jan. 16. Supper will be served between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Adults, $6; children under 12, $3. Menu will include hot dogs, baked beans, American chop suey, coleslaw and desserts.

Bless the sleds

MEXICO – The 12th annual “Blessing of the Sleds” will take place on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Mountain Valley Middle School.

There will be french fries, sausage, hamburgers, hot dog and drinks. The day will start at 10:30 a.m., with the blessing at noon. By 1 p.m., all the raffles will be drawn. The new “blessing” sweatshirts will be on sale.
