Public supper

NORTH WATERFORD – A public supper will be held at the North Waterford Congregational Church, Five Kezars Road, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26.

The menu will include baked beans, American chop suey, casseroles, salads, brown bread, rolls, beverages and homemade pies for dessert. Adults, $7; children under 12, $3.50.

Regular Sunday worship services will be held at 10 a.m. at the Stoneham Congregational Church during September and October.

The church is located Maine St. (Rt. 5) in Stoneham.

Otisfield supper

OTISFIELD – The East Otisfield Free Baptist Church will be sponsoring a bean supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at the church on Rayville Road.

This is part of series of free public suppers and will be cooked by the women of the church. A harvest supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, prepared by the men of the church, followed by an Italian supper prepared by the Sunday School on Saturday, Nov. 8.

All suppers are free, although donations will be gratefully accepted.
