Church service

PARIS – Trinity Lutheran Church, 34 Buckfield Road, South Paris, will celebrate the sixth Sunday after Pentecost at 9 a.m. Sunday, June 22. Bible study will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 25. Sunday service will be conducted by Paul Santmire as Pastors Marie and Myrhe will be away.

Horsemen to meet

PARIS – The Western Maine Harness Horsemen’s Association will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, June 23, at the Haskell House, 17 East Main St. The agenda will cover finalizing the plans for the Scarborough Downs International All-Star racing day on Sunday, Sept. 7. Bridge play

NORWAY – The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met June 13 in the Fare Share Commons when a four-table Howell movement was played.

First in Flight A were Woody Mercier and Richard Balian; second, Barbara Beegel and Marta Clements; third, Pete Cummings and Dick Allen; Flight B, first, Bev Dolan and Bev Pelletier; second, Dick and Marilyn Canton; third, Kathy Feld and Hazel Glazier.
