Rumford Hospital and the Rumford Area Rotary will sponsor a Red Cross blood drive at the American Legion in Rumford from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 11. There will be whole blood collection and collection of “double reds” for those who qualify. Patsy Mercier and Dot Benedix, pictured, will register donors. They are members of the Rumford Hospital Auxiliary. Also volunteering will be Gary Haines, Geneva Raymond, Arthur Rouleau and Joe Sirois. Call 364-1000 to make an appointment.
