Practice mission

A search-and-rescue exercise was held recently at the Auburn-Lewiston Airport, with the 077th Composite Squadron, Maine Wing-Civil Air Patrol, based in Auburn, hosting the event. Civil Air Patrol members, consisting of cadets, pilots and senior members, took part in the practice mission with aircraft and ground teams dispatched. The exercise tested responsiveness in disaster relief, homeland security and search and rescue.
