PARIS – The Mollyockett Sportsman’s Club raised funds for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life by sponsoring and organizing a radar/poker run in West Paris. The event raised $544.50 for the American Cancer Society, which was received by Shelly Everett, tri-chairwoman of the 2008 relay.

Relay For Life is an annual event to raise money for the American Cancer Society, and 80 percent of all proceeds raised stay in the state to be used for patient care, education and research.

The fifth annual Oxford Hills Relay For Life events will take place from 6 p.m. Friday, May 30, to 8 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at the Gouin Athletic Field, Alpine Street, South Paris.
