AUBURN – The Auburn Firefighters Local 797 is conducting a fundraising campaign in an effort to continue support for community endeavors such as the Children’s Fund, which helps with recreational programs and local scholarships.

Businesses will be contacted to support Local 797 by sponsoring an advertisement in the 2008 program booklet.

The publication will be distributed at the “Night of Laughs” Comedy Show to be held at the Hilton Garden Inn on Friday, June 6, with shows beginning at 7 and 9:15 p.m.

The program guide will include tips and hints on fire safety and fire prevention.

The PG-13 show will feature three comedians from the Boston Area.

Tickets will be available the night of the show for $10.
