LEWISTON – Central Maine Christian Academy students, grades five and up, recently participated in a statewide academic day at Bangor Christian School. The event involving seven Christian schools included competitions in music, math, art and science. The students chosen to take part had received top scores in math, science, music and art competitions at CMCA.
Zaqary Stiles participated in music and took fourth place in math computation; Cody Almoney, music and silver medal winner in high school science; Paul Dostie, music; Sarah Beecher, gold medal in high school science, red ribbon and excellent in music.
Also, Courtney Fenderson, yellow ribbon and honorable mention in music, superior and bronze medal in life science; Ashley Fenderson, red ribbon and excellent in music; Jessica Beecher, green ribbon and good in music; Jewels Gagne, music.
Also, Amy Jordan, blue ribbon and superior in elementary science, third place in math computation; Rebecca Chabot, green ribbon and good in music; Lex-c Jimenez, fifth place in math computation, gold medal in junior high science; Emily McLean, red ribbon and excellent in art.
Also, Brandyn Hobbs, fifth place in math reasoning, bronze medal in elementary physical science; and Garrett Glass, blue ribbon and superior in junior high science, third place in math reasoning, red ribbon and excellent in art; Sean Lewis, third place in math computation and second place in math reasoning.
Also, Peter Field, blue ribbon and superior in art drawing, white ribbon in another art display; Allison Beecher, red ribbon and excellent in art; Rebekah Dostie, two red ribbons and excellent in art; Danae Dostie, red ribbon and excellent in art; Ian Erickson, white ribbon and good in art; and Mike Nyberg, white ribbon and good in art.
