LISBON FALLS – Warren Galway, assistant principal of Lisbon High School, presented the fourth Helping Hand Award to Brain Craig, a member of the junior class at Lisbon High School, on April 17. The award was established at Lisbon High School last year to recognize students who go over and beyond to help the school, their class and/or community. The award is not based on academics.
“Brian was nominated by his English teacher, Brenda McKee,” said Galway. “Brian, totally on his own, designed posters for the National Honor Society flower show. He got to school early one morning, posted them throughout the school and sold flowers during lunch.
“Congratulations, Brian, Job well done,” said Galway during the presentation.
