OTISFIELD – The congregation of the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church is announcing plans to install a stained glass window in memory of the Rev. Gertrude DeCoteau, who served the church for more than 20 years prior to her death this winter.

DeCoteau was known throughout the Oxford Hills area as a dedicated and caring person who was always anxious to help those in need.

“Jesus in the Garden” is to be the subject of the window. Marlene Seavey of the Beveled Edge in Windham is the artist selected to create the memorial window.

Anyone wishing to contribute to the project may do so by sending a check to the church at P.O. Box 680, Oxford, ME 04270.
