The Chili and Chowder Challenge will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at the Ramada Inn to benefit the Gov. James B. Longley Elementary School, Lewiston. Co-chairs are Lewiston Regional Technical Center Culinary Arts Program Chef Dan Caron; Linda Atkins, sixth-grade teacher at Longley School; and Leo Baillargeon, coordinator at the Sun Journal for the Adopt-A-School program at Longley. Also assisting is Katrina Liguori, LRTC pastry chef, and the students of the culinary arts program.
