LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on March 31 with 24 members and a guest present.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members, especially for Joan Knapp, who died last week, and also for the men and women in the armed forces.

Reported on the sick list were Dora Slovak, Lucille Frechette and Gene Roy.

A potluck meal was served, with everyone bringing in a variety of hot and cold dishes. Birthday cake was served in honor of those celebrating birthdays in March: Margaret Richardson, Elvina Miller, Carmen Moreau and Doris Wilson.

Beano will be played Monday, April 7. Everyone playing should bring dimes.

The 50-50 was won by Jeannine Williams and the door prize, donated by Cindy Hebert, was won by Athanase Couture. The meeting was adjourned and cards and games were played.
